Equipment

Following is a list of equipment I have developed over several years of touring. This list was the list of equipment I started with on this tour. My overall packing budget is <50 pounds of gear not including the bicycle. This has meant being pretty ruthless in watching the equipment weight. When I get things wrong, I'll be mailing some excess baggage home or buying something along the way. Items marked with "(*)" were mailed home on this trip. Just for fun, click here to see the equipment list for a klondike miner 100 years ago.
